Leba started as a simple idea, creating plant-based dinners built around guest chefs and tasting menus.
The name comes from my son, Ábel, read backwards.
It stayed. Later, I discovered that in Yiddish, Leba means “beloved”, which felt right.
For now, Leba exists as a series of pop-up dinners across different venues.
Small evenings. Limited seats.
Where it goes long-term is still open.
The intention stays the same, plant-based dining without compromising the experience.
Leba is founded and curated by István Tamás, hosting each dinner personally.
